Online MBA in Business Analytics
The business analytics concentration focuses on data-driven decision-making. Students will learn how to analyze Internet data to optimize websites and marketing initiatives, create and implement social media marketing and use databases and SQL to contribute to competitive business strategies.
The finance concentration focuses on financial analysis and strategic decision-making. Students will gain insight into modern investment portfolio theory, build expertise in core financial principles and learn how to use financial accounting information to predict company performance.
The marketing concentration focuses on marketing skills that are essential to today’s business landscape. Students will learn how to develop a strategic marketing plan, create effective online and social media marketing campaigns and measure business goals to drive improvement through analytics.

Students who are applying for admission to the Online MBA program from the Freeman School of Business will need the following:

- Official transcripts
- Required from all institutions upon admittance, official transcripts must be sent directly from the institution’s office of the registrar to Tulane University by secure email (preferred) at freeman_etrans@tulane.edu.
- Alternatively, they can be sent to our mailing address:
- Resumé
- Include details on your education, as well as your professional experience and accomplishments.
- Two letters of recommendation
- These required recommendations should come from a professional source and should highlight the strengths, achievements and reasons why you would be a good candidate for Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business.
- Note: You will be able to add and/or update your recommenders after submitting your application.
- Personal statement
- In no more than 250 words, describe why you are choosing to attend the A. B. Freeman School of Business; including your motivation and understanding of the commitment and time management of an online program.
- International students must also submit:
- TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic or the Duolingo English Test for all applicants who are not citizens of countries where English is the official language. Exceptions may apply.

Students will have access to online resources including databases and journals as well as live library support via phone from the Turchin Library at the Freeman School of Business to assist with their data collection and report writing.
Career coaching and support through the Career Management Center is readily available to Online MBA students from the start of the program through graduation (and beyond). Students can work one-on-one with career consultants who will help guide them to reach their professional goals. They also benefit from an expert support team that includes an academic success coach and a designated financial aid representative.
